Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. fresh basil leaves
- 2 to 5 cloves garlic to taste
- 1/4 c. pine nuts
- 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
- 1/4 c. lemon juice (fresh)
Method
- Put the basil, garlic, pine nuts and Parmesan cheese in a blender or food processor.
- Drizzle in the lemon juice while processing; continue to puree until a smooth paste.
- Makes 3/4 cup Pesto.
- Use only a small amount to coat pasta.
