Ingredients
- 1 loaf bread
- 2 pieces celery
- 2 small onions
- 1 egg
- 4 tsp. poultry seasoning
- 2 Tbsp. canned milk
- 1 small chicken or 1 c. turkey
- 4 to 5 c. chicken or turkey broth (or more if needed)
Method
- Toast bread, then tear into small pieces and put in large bowl, then cut celery and onions in small pieces.
- Put in with bread. Put egg in a small bowl; add milk and beat until mixed.
- Pour into the bowl with the bread.
- Take chicken or turkey and tear into small pieces.
- Put in with the other ingredients.
- You can cook meat the day before, if desired.
- Sprinkle poultry seasoning over ingredients and mix with broth.
- Put in a medium pan, greased with butter.
- Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes or until done.
