Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 bunch celery, chopped
- 4 medium onions, chopped
- 2 (15 oz.) cans kidney beans
- 1 large can tomato juice
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 4 or 5 bay leaves
- 1/2 tsp. ground cloves
- salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Brown the ground beef.
- Add the celery and onions.
- Add some water and cook until soft.
- Add the kidney beans, tomato juice, tomato sauce, bay leaves, cloves, salt and pepper.
- Simmer in a large pot 4 or 5 hours.
