Ingredients
- 1 (3 to 3 1/2 lb.) broiler
- dried rosemary
- salt and pepper
Method
- Preheat oven to 400°.
- Thoroughly wash chicken, inside and out; pat dry.
- Place 2 teaspoons salt in chicken cavity.
- Add large pinch of rosemary to cavity.
- Salt and pepper chicken on all sides.
- Place in a bread loaf pan to which have been added the giblets.
- Roast 1 1/3 to 1 1/2 hours, uncovered.
