Ingredients
- 2 lb. beef roast
- salt and pepper to taste
- 4 Tbsp. flour
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- water
Method
- Cook roast in water on medium-high heat for 1 1/2 hours, adding water as needed.
- Cook water out and add oil; brown on both sides.
- Add flour; brown.
- Add water over roast to make gravy, enough for desired thickness.
