Ingredients
- 5 to 6 large Irish potatoes
- 1 sliced large onion
- salt, black pepper and garlic powder to taste
- 1/2 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
- 1 qt. milk
- chopped green onions (to garnish)
Method
- Peel and dice potatoes and onion.
- Boil in 5-quart pot with enough water to cover by an inch.
- Season water with salt, pepper and garlic powder.
- Once potatoes are well done and water has been reduced, add milk slowly.
- Add cheese if desired and stir well.
