Ingredients

  • 1 c. packed brown sugar
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 c. all-purpose flour
  • 3 Egg Beaters
  • 1/4 c. applesauce
  • 1/4 c. light corn syrup
  • 1/4 c. cocoa
  • 1/4 c. Hershey's chocolate syrup
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/2 c. Grape-Nuts cereal (optional)
  • 1/2 jar Kraft lite fudge topping

Method

  • In a large bowl, combine sugars, flour, Egg Beaters, applesauce, corn syrup, Hershey's chocolate syrup and cocoa.
  • Mix until well blended.
  • Stir in vanilla and Grape-Nuts, if desired. Spread into a 13 x 9 x 2-inch glass baking dish that has been sprayed with a nonfat cooking spray.
  • Bake at 350° for 25 minutes or until done.
  • Cool in pan on a wire rack.
  • Frost with lite fudge topping.
  • Yields 36 brownies.
