Ingredients
- 1/4 cup plus 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Method
- Combine flour and milk in a medium saucepan; cook over medium heat until thickened. Remove from heat; set aside.
- Cream butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Stir in vanilla. Add flour mixture to creamed mixture, beating until very smooth.
