Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 c. sugar or to taste
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 2 c. fully cooked rice
- 2 c. whole milk
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- flour or cornstarch (to thicken)
Method
- Beat eggs slightly and add flour, sugar, nutmeg and salt. Stir in rice, milk and vanilla.
- Cook slowly in heavy pot until thickened.
- May serve warm or cold.
- May add raisins for variation.
