Ingredients
- 1 lb. pork sausage, browned and drained
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 pkg. chicken soup (dry)
- 1 c. Minute rice
- 3 c. water
- 1 c. almond slivers
- paprika and black pepper
Method
- In deep skillet brown and drain sausage.
- Add pepper, onion, soup mix, water and rice.
- Simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Pour into 2-quart casserole bowl.
- Top with almonds.
- Sprinkle with paprika and black pepper.
- Bake in oven at 325° for 25 to 30 minutes. Almonds will be toasted.
