- 1 lb. chopped beef
- 1/2 c. chopped onions
- 1 large can pinto beans
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 c. water
- 1/2 tsp. hot red pepper
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/8 tsp. black pepper
- 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 3 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 Tbsp. molasses
Method
- In Dutch oven, brown beef and onions; drain off grease.
- Add all ingredients.
- Cover and simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
- Makes 6 servings.
