Ingredients
- 1 large can tomato paste
- 1 large can whole tomatoes
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 Tbsp. Italian seasoning
- 1 can water
- 1 c. Italian bread crumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 lb. ground beef
Method
- Puree tomato paste and tomatoes in blender.
- Add garlic, Italian seasoning and water.
- Mix together and simmer for 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
- Make meatballs with bread crumbs, egg and ground beef.
- Add to sauce 45 minutes before serving.
- For less fat, brown meatballs before adding to sauce.
