Ingredients

  • 3 tomatoes ripe
  • 1 ancho chili pepper
  • 1 chili pepper Guajillo
  • 1/4 onion
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Method

  • Clean the chili peppers, remove the stems and seeds, and place them in a pot of water with the tomatoes.
  • Heat up the water (medium heat) and once the tomatoes and chili peppers are soft, remove them from the pot and place them in a blender.
  • Mix together in the blender along with the onion and blend until everything is completely liquefied. If you like, you may also add salt and pepper.
  • Pour the vegetable oil into a pan and cook the ground beef until it becomes a light brown color.
  • Pour the sauce into the pan and cook everything for 10 minutes.
  • Turn off the stove and serve.
