Ingredients

  • vegetable cooking spray
  • 1/4 c. chopped green bell pepper
  • 1 (16 oz.) can vegetarian beans in tomato sauce
  • 1 (15 oz.) can red kidney beans, drained
  • 1/4 c. tomato sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. molasses
  • 1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
  • 1/4 tsp. onion powder

Method

  • Coat medium saucepan with cooking spray.
  • Place over medium-high heat until hot.
  • Add green pepper; saute 3 minutes. Add baked beans and remaining ingredients.
  • Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Contains about 125 calories per 1/2 cup serving.
