- vegetable cooking spray
- 1/4 c. chopped green bell pepper
- 1 (16 oz.) can vegetarian beans in tomato sauce
- 1 (15 oz.) can red kidney beans, drained
- 1/4 c. tomato sauce
- 2 Tbsp. molasses
- 1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
- 1/4 tsp. onion powder
Method
- Coat medium saucepan with cooking spray.
- Place over medium-high heat until hot.
- Add green pepper; saute 3 minutes. Add baked beans and remaining ingredients.
- Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Contains about 125 calories per 1/2 cup serving.
