Ingredients
- 1 1/3 c. softened margarine
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 large bag (12 oz.) chocolate chips or colored chips
- 1 c. chopped nuts (if desired)
Method
- Preheat oven to 375°.
- Put margarine, sugar and eggs in mixing bowl.
- Beat with electric mixer on medium until smooth.
- Add flour, baking soda and vanilla; mix well.
- Stir in chocolate chips and nuts (if desired).
- Dough will be very stiff.
- Spoon dough onto ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes for soft cookies; for 10 to 12 minutes for crisp cookies.
