Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 (15 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce without meat
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. lasagna noodles
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 (15 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce with mushrooms
  • 1 (3 oz.) can mushrooms
  • 1 1/2 tsp. minced onion
  • 1 (16 oz.) cottage cheese
  • 2 c. shredded Mozzarella

Method

  • Brown meat in a large skillet; drain well.
  • Stir in next 5 ingredients; simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Cook noodles according to package directions.
  • Layer noodles and then sauce and cottage cheese until all are used up.
  • Finish up with Mozzarella on top.
  • Bake in 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish at 350° for 30 minutes, until well heated.
  • Let stand about 10 minutes, then serve.
