Ingredients
- 1 lb. fresh green beans
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 c. beef broth
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
Method
- Wash green beans; trim ends and remove strings.
- Cut into 1 1/2-inch pieces.
- Place beans and onion in a 1-quart baking dish. Add broth and pepper. Cover and microwave on High 11 to 13 minutes or until beans are tender, stirring twice.
- Let stand, covered, 5 minutes.
- Yields 4 servings.
