Ingredients
- 1 lb. round steak, cubed
- 1 1/2 c. frozen seasonings
- 1 box frozen peas and carrots
- 2 potatoes, cubed
- 2 c. beef broth
- 1 c. water
- 1/2 c. roux
- 1/2 c. onion tops and parsley
- 3 Tbsp. oil
Method
- Brown steak in oil.
- Remove and add roux and one cup of water. Add seasonings; cook 10 minutes.
- Put steak back in and add beef broth.
- Cook about one hour.
- Add potatoes and peas and carrots. Cook 1/2 hour.
- Add tops and parsley.
- Serve over grits or rice.
