Ingredients
- 1 (2 1/2 to 3 lb.) fryer, cut up
- 1 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 18 oz. hickory smoke barbecue sauce (Kraft)
- 3 Tbsp. picante sauce
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/8 tsp. black pepper
Method
- Put flour, salt and cut up chicken in brown sack.
- Close tightly and shake chicken pieces good.
- Fry in hot shortening or oil of your choice.
- When browned, remove to paper towel on platter.
- Mix remaining ingredients.
- Dip each piece of chicken into sauce while hot.
- Then place in roasting pan.
- Leave open. Bake for 20 minutes in 375° oven.
