Ingredients

  • 16 oz. small curd cottage cheese
  • 8 oz. shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 3/4 lb. spaghetti
  • 1/3 c. Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 eggs, well beaten
  • 4 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 26 oz. jar spaghetti sauce
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped

Method

  • Cook spaghetti noodles and drain but don't rinse. In a bowl, mix Parmesan cheese, eggs and butter and stir in noodles to coat. Pour into a 9 x 13-inch pan. Spread cottage cheese on top. Cook ground beef, green pepper and onions, then add sauce. Spread this on top of cottage cheese. Top with Mozzarella cheese. Cover and bake at 350° for 45 minutes. Cut in squares to serve.
