Ingredients

  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. or 2 pkg. (3 oz. each) raspberry flavor gelatin
  • 2 c. boiling water
  • 1 1/2 c. cold water
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 1/2 c. shredded cabbage
  • 1 c. cranberries, chopped coarse
  • 1/2 c. coarsely chopped nuts
  • 4 large outer leaves cabbage

Method

  • In medium bowl, stir gelatin and boiling water until gelatin is dissolved.
  • Stir in cold water, sugar and vinegar.
  • Chill 1 hour or until consistency of unbeaten egg whites.
  • Fold in cabbage, cranberries and nuts.
  • Pour into 8-cup mold.
  • Cover and chill 3 to 4 hours or until firm.
  • Unmold on leaves.
  • Makes 6 servings.
