Ingredients

  • 1 yellow cake mix
  • 2 (3.75 oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding
  • 2 or 3 bananas
  • 16 oz. can crushed pineapple
  • 2 (16 oz.) cartons frozen strawberries, thawed
  • 2 (8 oz.) cartons creamy whipped topping

Method

  • Make cake as directed on box and bake in two round cake pans. Cool.
  • To assemble in bowl, place one cake layer in bottom of punch bowl.
  • Prepare pudding according to box.
  • Use half on first layer.
  • Slice enough bananas to cover top of pudding.
  • Pour 1/2 can pineapple, juice and all, over bananas.
  • Put one box of strawberries over pineapple.
  • Top with 1 carton of whipped topping.
  • Repeat layers.
  • Refrigerate.
  • Nice for large gatherings.
