Ingredients
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 2 (28 oz.) cans pumpkin
- 4 beaten eggs
- 8 oz. Pet evaporated milk
- 1 c. sugar + 3 tsp.
- 1/2 tsp. ground cloves
- 1 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
- 1 1/2 sticks margarine
- 1 c. pecan pieces
- Cool Whip
Method
- Beat eggs.
- Add sugar and beat.
- Mix in pumpkin.
- Add evaporated milk.
- Add spices.
- Mix well and pour in greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Sprinkle yellow cake mix over mixture.
- Melt margarine and pour evenly over cake mix.
- Add pecans on top.
- Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
- Cool.
- Cut into squares.
- Top with Cool Whip.
