Ingredients
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 c. Wesson oil
- 4 large eggs
- 3 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 small can pumpkin
- 2/3 c. water
- 3 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 3/4 c. chopped nuts
- 3 (1 lb.) coffee cans, greased and floured
Method
- Mix nutmeg, cinnamon, Wesson oil, sugar, eggs and salt.
- When thoroughly mixed, add rest of ingredients.
- Mix well and pour mixture into cans until each can is approximately 3/4 full.
- Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
- Cool cans for 10 minutes, then turn out to finish cooling.
- Makes 3 (1 pound) loafs.
