Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp season salt
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 2 tbsp sage
  • 2 tbsp molasses
  • 1 tbsp pepper
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 8 lb pork shoulder butt

Method

  • mix dry and wet ingredients together in crock pot
  • place pork shoulder in crock on low for 8 hours to cook
  • after pork falls off bone remove from crock and discard water
  • put pork in deep flat bottom cooking tray and shred with tongs or butcher knife
  • once shredded to satisfaction place on large roll and top With favorite BBQ sauce
