Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. crushed thin pretzels
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 (8 to 10 oz.) pkg. Cool Whip
  • 1 large pkg. strawberry jello
  • 1 large pkg. frozen strawberries

Method

  • Mix 1 1/2 cups crushed pretzels with sugar and butter.
  • Press into bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan.
  • Bake at 350° for 10 minutes and cool.
  • Mix cream cheese, sugar and Cool Whip.
  • Pat onto cooled crust.
  • Dissolve jello in 2 cups boiling water and 1/2 cold water. Add strawberries.
  • Refrigerate.
  • When this mixture begins to gel, spoon over cream cheese layer.
  • Refrigerate until set.
