Ingredients

  • 2 c. crushed pretzels
  • 3/4 c. butter, melted
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 2 c. Cool Whip
  • 1 large pkg. strawberry Jell-O
  • 2 c. boiling water
  • 2 (6 oz.) sliced frozen strawberries

Method

  • Mix pretzels, butter and 3 tablespoons sugar; mix and press into 13 x 9-inch pan.
  • Bake crust for 10 minutes at 375°; cool. Cream 1 cup sugar and cream cheese.
  • Add Cool Whip; spread over pretzel layer.
  • Mix Jell-O and boiling water; add frozen strawberries (practically thawed).
  • Pour over second layer. Refrigerate.
  • Best to make night before.
