Ingredients

  • 1 jar dried beef
  • 8 slices bacon
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
  • 8 chicken breasts, halved and boned (if breasts are too large, cut in smaller pieces)

Method

  • Line casserole dish with chipped beef.
  • Slice chicken breast into as many small pieces as possible.
  • Mash each piece flat. Roll each piece of chicken breast with slice of chipped beef inside.
  • Roll slice of bacon around chicken and skewer with toothpick.
  • Place chicken rolls on chipped beef in dish.
  • Mix soup and sour cream; pour over chicken.
  • Bake in oven for 2 hours.
  • Do not salt (beef is salty).
  • Yields 8 servings.
