Ingredients
- 2 c. granulated sugar
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 stick butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. pecans
Method
- Place in large pan and boil all ingredients, except pecans, until a soft ball stage is reached.
- Remove from heat and add butter.
- Allow to cool to room temperature.
- Add vanilla and stir until the mixture starts to thicken.
- Add pecans and spoon onto wax paper.
- Will make 25 to 30 pralines.
