Ingredients

  • 1/3 c. margarine or butter
  • 1/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 graham cracker crust
  • 1 (3 5/8 oz.) pkg. butterscotch pudding mix
  • whipped topping

Method

  • In small saucepan, cook and stir butter and brown sugar over low heat until brown sugar melts and mixture bubbles.
  • Remove from heat and add pecans.
  • Pour into graham cracker crust.
  • Prepare pudding mix according to package directions for pie filling.
  • Cool slightly.
  • Pour over butter and brown sugar mixture.
  • Chill 4 hours or until firm.
  • Just before serving, garnish with whipped topping.
