Ingredients
- 3 sticks (1 1/2 c.) margarine or butter, softened
- 3 c. sugar
- 5 eggs, well beaten
- 3 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder or baking soda
- 1 c. milk (buttermilk may be substituted)
- 1 tsp. each: Adams Best vanilla, butter, coconut, lemon extract and rum flavoring
Method
- Preheat oven to 325°.
- Cream margarine and sugar.
- Add eggs. Blend flour, salt and baking powder.
- Alternately add milk and flour mixture to creamed ingredients.
- Stir in flavorings.
- Pour in a 10-inch Bundt or tube pan that has been greased.
- Bake for 1 1/2 hours or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
