Ingredients

  • 3 sticks (1 1/2 c.) margarine or butter, softened
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 5 eggs, well beaten
  • 3 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder or baking soda
  • 1 c. milk (buttermilk may be substituted)
  • 1 tsp. each: Adams Best vanilla, butter, coconut, lemon extract and rum flavoring

Method

  • Preheat oven to 325°.
  • Cream margarine and sugar.
  • Add eggs. Blend flour, salt and baking powder.
  • Alternately add milk and flour mixture to creamed ingredients.
  • Stir in flavorings.
  • Pour in a 10-inch Bundt or tube pan that has been greased.
  • Bake for 1 1/2 hours or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
