Ingredients
- 2 lb. potatoes, peeled and sliced
- 8 c. chicken broth
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 2 c. chopped onions
- 2 c. grated carrots
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 1 tsp. mace
- 1 to 2 c. cream
Method
- Melt butter and saute onions, celery and carrots until golden and soft.
- Add potatoes and broth and cook until potatoes are tender.
- Add mace and salt and pepper to taste.
- Add cream.
