Ingredients
- 1 stick margarine
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 2 c. flour
- 1/2 c. oats
- 1 bottle (16 oz.) caramel sauce
- 1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream
Method
- Mix oats, flour, margarine, brown sugar and pecans and spread on cookie sheet.
- Bake 10 minutes or until crisp.
- Halve the mixture and spread in bottom of 9 x 13-inch dish.
- Pour 1/2 of bottle caramel over mixture.
- Defrost ice cream and spread softened ice cream over caramel.
- Sprinkle about half of mixture over ice cream, pour remainder of caramel over this and freeze.
