Ingredients
- 8 c. potatoes, cooked and sliced
- 1 1/4 c. bacon, chopped
- 2 large onions, finely chopped
- 1/4 c. bacon drippings or salad oil
- 1 c. chicken stock base
- 3 c. hot water
- 1/4 c. chives, chopped
- 1 c. apple cider vinegar
Method
- Combine the ingredients and heat.
- Salt and pepper to taste. Serves 16.
- May be served cold.
