Ingredients

  • 3 c. potatoes, cut
  • 1/2 c. celery
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 c. carrots
  • 1/4 c. onions
  • 1 tsp. parsley flakes
  • 1 chicken bouillon cube
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 dash black pepper
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese

Method

  • Combine potatoes, water, celery, carrots, onions, parsley flakes, bouillon cube and seasonings; mix well.
  • Cover and simmer 15 to 20 minutes or until all veggies are tender.
  • Gradually add milk and flour mixture to vegetables.
  • Cook until thickened.
  • Add cheese and stir until melted.
