Ingredients
- 1/2 c. warm mashed potatoes
- 1 1/2 c. warm water
- 1/2 c. oleo
- 6 1/2 c. flour
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs
Method
- Sprinkle yeast in water.
- Add sugar and salt.
- Let bubble.
- Add eggs and 3 cups flour.
- Mix at high speed with mixer.
- Add 2 cups more flour.
- Use wooden spoon to mix rest of flour.
- Let rise in icebox, covered, for 2 hours.
- Remove and punch down.
- This may be kept in icebox for 3 or 4 days.
- Just take out as much as you need. Shape into rolls and let rise for 2 hours.
- Bake at 350° in oven until done.
