Ingredients
- 24 oz. hash brown potatoes, fried
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1/2 stick oleo
- 1 can cream mushroom, diluted
- 1 small carton sour cream
- 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 can French fried onion rings
Method
- Melt oleo in pan.
- Add onions and cook until lightly brown. Add potatoes and stir.
- Heat thoroughly.
- Empty this in greased casserole dish.
- Mix with soup and sour cream, salt and pepper. Add to potatoes.
- Cover top with Cheddar cheese.
- Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes.
- Add onion rings and bake 10 minutes more with lid.
