Ingredients

  • 24 oz. hash brown potatoes, fried
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1/2 stick oleo
  • 1 can cream mushroom, diluted
  • 1 small carton sour cream
  • 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 can French fried onion rings

Method

  • Melt oleo in pan.
  • Add onions and cook until lightly brown. Add potatoes and stir.
  • Heat thoroughly.
  • Empty this in greased casserole dish.
  • Mix with soup and sour cream, salt and pepper. Add to potatoes.
  • Cover top with Cheddar cheese.
  • Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes.
  • Add onion rings and bake 10 minutes more with lid.
