Ingredients
- 2 1/4 lb corned beef
- 1 None onion, chopped
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- 3 None cloves
- None None roasted tomatoes, to serve
- None None pickles, to serve
- None None vegetables, to serve
Method
- Rinse beef and place in a large saucepan with onion, sugar, vinegar and cloves. Add enough water to cover. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to low and simmer, covered, for 1 hour 15 mins, or until a skewer inserted is easily removed.
- Serve sliced with roasted tomatoes, pickles and vegetables.
