- 2 lb. frozen hash browns
- 1/2 c. melted butter
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 medium chopped onion
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 pt. sour cream
- 2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- 1/4 c. melted butter
- 2 c. crushed potato chips
Method
- Combine 1/2 cup butter, salt, pepper, onion, soup, sour cream and cheese.
- Mix thoroughly.
- Place hash browns in butter coated oblong baking dish.
- Pour mix over potatoes.
- Mix 1/4 cup butter and crushed potato chips; sprinkle over top.
- Cover and bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
