- 3 to 4 lb. chuck roast
- 1/2 c. water
- 8 oz. tomato sauce
- 1 large onion
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire
- salt and pepper
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/4 c. ketchup
- 1/4 c. lemon juice
- 1/4 c. vinegar
Method
- Brown the meat in oil; salt and pepper lightly.
- Add remaining ingredients.
- Cover tightly and bake at 275° to 300° until done, about 3 hours.
