Ingredients

  • 8 slices bread, cut off crusts and cube
  • 1 lb. pork sausage, cooked, cut and drained
  • 1 lb. Cheddar cheese, cubed
  • 4 beaten eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 small can mushrooms, drained
  • 1/4 c. green pepper, chopped

Method

  • Place bread, sausage and cheese in 9 x 13-inch pan.
  • Cover with eggs, milk, onion, soup,
  • mushrooms and pepper.
  • Place covered pan in refrigerator overnight.
  • Bake one hour at 350°; uncover and brown top.
