Ingredients
- 3 jars sauerkraut
- 4 pounds pork roast boneless
- 4 strips bacon
- onion 1 med., chopped
- apple 1 med., chopped
Method
- Place bacon on bottom of large kettle, cover with 1/2 of sauerkraut, add pork roast, then the other 1/2 of sauerkraut, onions and apple.
- Cook over low heat for 1/2 hour then transfer to oven for 3 hours at 325 degrees.
