Ingredients

  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 Tbsp. minced parsley
  • 2 Tbsp. grated onion
  • 1/2 tsp. minced garlic
  • 1/4 c. beer
  • 24 clams on the 1/2 shell
  • 10 slices bacon
  • 4 Tbsp. bread crumbs

Method

  • Cream the first four ingredients and then slowly beat in the beer.
  • Now put a small amount of the mixture on each clam.
  • Cut the bacon in sizes large enough to cover each clam (1/2 shell). Sprinkle bread crumbs over all and arrange on an oiled baking dish. bake in a 300° to 375° oven for 10 to 15 minutes.
