Ingredients

  • 2 pkg. yeast
  • 6 c. flour
  • 6 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. very warm water
  • 1/2 c. oil

Method

  • In large bowl put 2 cups flour, salt, sugar and yeast.
  • Heat water and oil until very warm.
  • Don't boil your water but have it very warm.
  • Pour into flour mixture; mix well.
  • Add rest of flour; knead well.
  • Grease bowl and turn over to grease both sides.
  • Then cover and let rise to double.
  • Punch down; knead.
  • Make rolls or 2 loaves.
  • Put in greased pans.
  • Let rise until double in size.
  • Bake at 350° for 25 to 35 minutes.
