Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. pork strips
  • 2 green peppers, cut 1 inch squares
  • 2 (15 1/2 oz.) cans crushed pineapple, drain and add water to juice to make 1 1/2 c.
  • 1/2 c. soya sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 4 Tbsp. oil

Method

  • Combine pineapple juice and water to soya sauce, cornstarch, chicken base, pepper and garlic.
  • Heat oil in large skillet. Stir-fry pork and green peppers 3 to 4 minutes, until brown.
  • Push meat to one side of pan.
  • Add liquid and pineapple.
  • Stir and cook to thicken.
  • Pour this recipe over cooked rice.
