Ingredients

  • 4 lg. sweet potatoes or possibly yams
  • 3 lg. apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
  • 2-3 tbsp. brown sugar
  • Dash of pepper
  • Dash of salt
  • 4 lean pork chops
  • 1/2 c. water

Method

  • Partially bake sweet potatoes; cold and slice into 1 1/2 qt casserole with sliced apples.
  • Sprinkle with sugar.
  • Add in pepper and salt, if you like.
  • Brown pork chops in a non-stick skillet sprayed with Pam and place on top of apples.
  • Add in water.
  • Bake, uncovered, till tender, about 1 1/4 hrs at 325-350 degrees.
