Ingredients

  • 6 c. chicken, boiled and deboned
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 or 2 jars Green Giant mushrooms
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • milk (small amount to thin down mixtures)
  • 12 oz. pkg. Ritz crackers
  • 2 sticks oleo, melted
  • 2 Tbsp. poppy seed

Method

  • Roll chicken and debone.
  • Take cream cheese and add a little milk to thin down just a touch.
  • Mix chicken and drained mushrooms thoroughly.
  • In another bowl, melt oleo and add poppy seed.
  • Crush the crackers and mix together.
  • Take half or a little more to layer a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  • Pour in chicken mixture.
  • Put the rest of the cracker mix on top.
  • Bake at 400° for 20 to 25 minutes.
  • Makes 6 to 8 servings.
