- 6 c. chicken, boiled and deboned
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 or 2 jars Green Giant mushrooms
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- milk (small amount to thin down mixtures)
- 12 oz. pkg. Ritz crackers
- 2 sticks oleo, melted
- 2 Tbsp. poppy seed
Method
- Roll chicken and debone.
- Take cream cheese and add a little milk to thin down just a touch.
- Mix chicken and drained mushrooms thoroughly.
- In another bowl, melt oleo and add poppy seed.
- Crush the crackers and mix together.
- Take half or a little more to layer a 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Pour in chicken mixture.
- Put the rest of the cracker mix on top.
- Bake at 400° for 20 to 25 minutes.
- Makes 6 to 8 servings.
