Ingredients

  • 2 c. corn syrup
  • 1 3/4 c. granulated sugar
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 qts. popped corn

Method

  • Combine the corn syrup, sugar and water and boil until a little when tried in cold water forms a hard ball, 254°F.
  • Add the vanilla and pour into the popped corn from which all hard grains should be removed.
  • Stir till coated, rub hand with Mazola corn oil and form the corn into medium sized balls, pressing closely together.
