Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. chopped pimiento
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 1 lb. can whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cooked noodles or elbow macaroni
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

Method

  • Brown beef and drain; add onion, soup, corn, pimiento, milk, salt and pepper.
  • Cook noodles according to package directions; drain.
  • Mix together ground meat mixture and noodles.
  • Put in a casserole dish and bake at 325° for 20 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and sprinkle cheese on top, returning to oven just long enough to let the cheese melt.
  • Let set for 5 minutes before serving.
