Ingredients
- 4 slices bacon
- 1/2 c. green onion
- 1 lb. green beans
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 1/2 tsp. vinegar
Method
- Fry bacon in pot; when done, remove bacon and then saute onion in bacon fat.
- Add beans (with ends snipped); add water and cook over super low heat.
- When almost done, add salt (optional because of salt in bacon).
- Also add pepper and vinegar.
- When beans are tender, add in bacon pieces, crumbled.
